Hey there, here’s a new artbook review! We have already talked about “Kaba 2” a while back but then, when I was in Japan, I found “Kaba” (1) at a decent price so I immediately bought it and I do not regret my decision, let’s see why!
“Kaba” (カバ) means “hippopotamus” in japanese and while I don’t really understand Katsuhiro Otomo’s fascination for this animal, it makes for an original title and cover for this artbook published in 1989 by Kodansha (for your information Kaba 2 is from 2012).
